Projects

A project is a production, job, or shoot you're tracking spend against. Almost all day-to-day work — purchases, project locations, items, documents — lives inside a project. For how pieces fit together, see How projects are structured.

Who can create a project

Only organization Admins can create projects. Flows for brief, script, and manual create (including plan gates): Creating Projects.

On create you pick a project type, then set name and dates (and budget on the manual path). Description and other details are editable later in Settings.

Inside a project

After create you land on Overview: KPIs (spend, open purchases, items, budget health), charts, recent purchases, and breakdowns by location or vendor. The full tab map is in Working in a Project.

Settings

General Information covers name, description, and start/end dates. Finance holds the project budget. Collaborators, export, archive, and delete live in Settings too — Project Settings & Collaborators.

Archive and delete

From Settings → Danger Zone:

  • Archive — hides the project from active lists; reversible. Available to the creator, project Admins, and org Admins.
  • Delete — soft-deletes the project; irreversible in practice. Available to the creator or a project Admin (confirm with the project name).
