Invites & Seats
Backscene has two invite paths: into the organization, and onto a project. Seat limits apply to org membership roles; pending org invites that reserve a seat count against those limits until accepted, revoked, or expired.
Organization invites
Org Admins invite from Org Settings (members / invites). Choose a role — Admin, Editor, or Viewer. If there is no free seat for that role on your plan, the invite is blocked until you free a seat or upgrade.
Seat caps by plan (including viewer limits) are listed on Plans & Features. Billing treats Viewers as non-billable seats, but plans still enforce viewer quotas — see Billing & Plans.
Project invites
Project or org Admins invite from Project Settings → Collaborators. Project invites do not themselves reserve an org seat the same way — but if the person isn't in the org yet, accepting can create an org membership (typically as Editor) and that step is subject to seat checks.
Accepting an invite
Invitees use the email link or an in-app notification. The email address must match the invite. After accept, they join with the role you chose.
