Locations Library

Locations are org-level reusable places — a soundstage, practical location, or office. They live in the shared Org Hub → Locations Library, not inside a single project. If you shoot at the same warehouse twice, it's one Location record linked to both projects.

For how locations relate to scenes and purchases, see Project Locations and How projects are structured.

Who can manage the library

Org Admins manage the library from Org Hub. From inside a project, team members with permission can still link an existing location or create one that is added to the library and linked to the project in one step.

Working in the library

  • Search and browse locations in table or card layout
  • Open a location for address, notes, and project links
  • Archive locations you no longer need in active lists
  • See spend and related context on the location detail when projects are linked

Linking to projects

A Location can be linked to as many projects as you need. Editing the location's address or notes updates it everywhere it's used. Project views show the subset linked to that project; the underlying record stays shared.
